This course is designed for the QWERTY keyboard but we have added some support for the DVORAK keyboard. To be able to go through the course, in the first lessons DVORAK users need to learn the home row for the DVORAK keyboard and also the home row keys for the QWERTY keyboard.
In this key drill, users of the DVORAK keyboard learn keys I, D, F, J, K and L.
You will soon notice that when you reach for a key on the top or bottom row, other fingers automatically mimic the movement and straighten out a little bit. This is a natural movement and you don't need to resist it. Just try to keep it as small as possible.
Make sure your fingers return to their home row keys after pressing a key on the upper or lower extension row.
